1996 Salmonella enteritidis at the Denver Zoological Gardens, Komodo Dragon Contact

A confirmed outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis was linked to visitation of a temporary Komodo dragon exhibit at the Denver Zoological Gardens and touching the protective barrier around the exhibit.
