2010 Outbreak of Salmonella at Clearview High School, Lorain County, Ohio
An outbreak of Salmonella Group B occurred among people who attended a Clearview High School football dinner, in Lorain County, Ohio. At least eight of the illnesses were confirmed as caused by Salmonellosis. The Health Commissioner stated that some of the illnesses were upper respiratory in nature, not diarrheal. Norovirus was ruled out as a cause of the outbreak. The outbreak at the high school may have been part of a larger outbreak in the region.
