2016 Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella Mbandaka Associated with Live Poultry
In 2016 public health officials investigated a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Mbandaka associated with exposure to live poultry. A total of 46 people with the outbreak strain were reported from 20 states. Among people who reported the date they came ill, illnesses began between March 26, 2016 and August 19, 2016.
