2017 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a Hotel Restaurant, Mississippi

In December 2017 public health officials in Mississippi investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a hotel restaurant located in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Implicated exposure dates occurred over two days, December 1 and December 2. Eleven people reported symptoms consistent with C. perfringens. One person was laboratory confirmed. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
