2017 Outbreak of Gastroenteritis at a Restaurant, Tacoma, Washington

Two people became ill with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea within hours after eating at a restaurant located in Tacoma, Washington on September 2, 2018. The suspected contaminated food item was pinto beans. Neither case sought medical care and neither case was tested for a foodborne pathogen. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
