2018 Outbreak of Norovirus, Pho Aroma, Seattle, Washington

On January 16, 2018 Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) learned of 5 ill persons from one meal party that became ill after eating at Pho Aroma located in West Seattle. The meal date was January 13. As part of the investigation PHSKC visited and closed the restaurant on January 17. During the field inspection, investigators identified 2 employees who experienced symptoms consistent with norovirus after the customers' meal date of January 13.
