2019 Outbreak of Norovirus, King County, Washington

In April 2019 Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) investigated an outbreak of suspected norovirus associated with three restaurants - Purple Café and Wine Bar, Lot No. 3, and Cast Iron Studios, all in Bellevue. The three establishments all owned by Heavy Restaurant Group, share a building, multiple kitchens, foods, and employees. In total 26 ill restaurant patrons were identified. Meal dates ranged from April 6 to 10, 2019. At least 5 employees reported symptoms dating back to April 7. No one was hospitalized and no one died. A single food or drink item was not identified.
