1986 Outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis Infections Among Guests at the Hotel Cerromar Restaurant, Puerto Rico
In July and then again in November, travelers returning from the Hotel Cerromar in Puerto Rico developed gastroenteritis caused by Salmonella Enteritidis. A recurrent source of exposure was suspected, however the source was not described.
