1999 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections at a Children's Long and Short Term Care Facility, Tennessee
Two children who lived at the Peninsula Village, a short and long term care facility for children, developed infections caused by E. coli O157:H7. The children had no direct contact with one another. The only common link between them that was identified was that both had eaten meals containing ground beef that had been served at the facility on June 19 and 22.
