2001 Outbreak of E. Coli O157:H7 Infections at a Prison, Colorado
A confirmed outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections was associated with eating ground beef, hamburger in a Colorado prison. Thirteen cases were identified. Five people were hospitalized. No one died.
