A Hennepin County, Minnesota, restaurant was implicated in an outbreak of Norovirus. Complaints made to the Minnesota Department of Health stated that people had become ill after eating at the fast food restaurant in Minnetonka. These were the only illnesses found associated with the restaurant. The cases had eaten different meals, one a chicken sandwich with fries and a soda and one a southwest chicken wrap, but they were both prepared by the same food handler. One employee interviewed stated they had worked on May 5 and had an upset stomach, but had not worked on May 4 when the first case ate. No food handling violations were noted.
