2005 Outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis at CL Swanson Corporation Cafeteria, Illinois
Food served at the CL Swanson Corporation's company cafeteria was associated with an outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis. Twelve company workers were confirmed to have Salmonella. Two of the ill were company cafeteria food workers. Four other people became ill, but their illnesses were never confirmed to be caused by Salmonella as they did not submit stool samples for testing.
