2005 Outbreak of Salmonellosis at a Restaurant in Sweetwater County, Wyoming
An outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis occurred among patrons and food workers at a Chinese-style restaurant in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Eight isolates from laboratory-confirmed case- patients were identical via pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). A case-control study revealed consumption of eggs and raw tomatoes as risk factors statistically associated with illness.
