2007 Outbreak of Campylobacter Linked to Raw Milk, California
Unpasteurized milk purchased from a dairy in California was linked to an outbreak of Campylobacter. No Campylobacter was isolated from available milk samples. Campylobacter was isolated from cow feces collected at the dairy; this strain was a genetic match to a human case.
