The Foothill Ranch Souplantation, in San Diego, California, was the source of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak. Fifteen patrons and one employee became ill. All had eaten at the San Diego-based, Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation, which runs both Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes Restaurants.
