More than 300 Chinese workers became ill in Shenzhen after eating at the factory canteen. They all ate chinese cabbage and kidney beans for lunch. Undercooked kidney beans contain a toxin, called lectin, which could cause diarrhea if the beans are not cooked thoroughly.
