2009 E. Coli O157:H7 at a Workplace Cafeteria, Connecticut
A confirmed outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 was associated with eating chicken tenders at a workplace cafeteria in Connecticut. Several findings from this investigation indicated that consumption of chicken tenders were the most likely cause of this outbreak. It was suspected that the chicken tenders had become cross contaminated during storage.
