2010 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Cary Baptist Church Potluck, North Carolina

About 40 people became ill with upset stomachs and vomiting after eating a potluck lunch served after church at the Cary Baptist Church, in North Carolina. It was discovered that a child in the church had been ill two days before the potluck. The child was not in attendance, but relatives of the child did attend the potluck. The outbreak was suspected to have been caused by norovirus.
