In July 2011 Georgia public health officials investigated an outbreak of Cyclospora cayetanensis infections. Ninety nine people became ill after eating at three separate, catered events held at the Georgia Aquarium in late July. Three people were hospitalized. The caterer was Wolfgang Puck catering. The common foods served were a salad mix, fresh basil and cherry tomatoes. There was a food court at the aquarium, however, none of the illnesses was linked to eating food from this source.
