2012 Outbreak of Salmonella Montevideo Infections Linked to a Graduation Party, Lincoln County, Kansas
In May 2012 Kansas public health officials investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Montevideo infections following a graduation party at a private home. Thirteen outbreak associated cases were identified. No one was hospitalized and no one died. A retrospective cohort study was conducted. No food items served at the party were statistically associated with illness.
