2014 Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to Raw Milk, Kentucky
In September 2014 five children in Hardin, Oldham, and Boone counties, Kentucky were infected with E. coli O157:H7 after drinking raw/unpasteurized milk. Four of the 5 children developed hemolytic uremic syndrome and were hospitalized. No one died.
