2016 Multistate Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Linked to PT Farms Ground Beef
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health Services investigated an outbreak of E. coli O157 infections linked to consumption of ground beef produced by PT Farms LLC, a North Haverhill, NH producer. People who became ill ate ground beef at a number of locations. By July 27, 2016 fourteen cases of illness had been identified. Illness onset dates ranged from June 17 to July 16, 2016. There were 5 hospitalizations and no deaths.
