In July 2016 Colorado public health officials investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a catered meal served on July 15 at a private home. Interviews were conducted with ill and non-ill attendees, contacts of attendees as well as with staff and management at the catering company. Thirteen people reported symptoms including one person who was laboratory confirmed. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
