In October 2016 public health officials in Oklahoma investigated an outbreak of gastroenteritis at a catered event held in Edmond, Oklahoma on October 15. Forty-seven people reported symptoms that included abdominal cramps and diarrhea. No one was laboratory confirmed with a foodborne pathogen. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
