2016 Outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis Infections Associated with Eagles Roost Sports Bar, Kentucky
In February 2016 public health officials in Kentucky investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis infections associated with Eagles Roost Sports Bar located in Irvine, Kentucky. Dates of illness onset ranged from January 17, 2016 to February 10, 2016. A total of 85 outbreak associated cases were identified including 2 employees. Thirteen people were hospitalized. There were no deaths.
Three of 5 chicken samples tested positive for Salmonella.
