2017 E. coli O157 Outbreak, Lake Wildwood, California
In August 2017 Nevada County Public Health in California investigated an outbreak of E. coli O157 among 18 persons who reported playing in the water at Commodore Beach in Lake Wildwood. Ten people were hospitalized. As of August 17, onset of symptoms July 20-29, 2017. All five public beaches at Lake Wildwood were closed.
