2017 Outbreak o f Salmonella Schwarzengrund Infections Linked to Best BBQ Ribs, Illinois
In September 2017 the Chicago Department of Public Health investigated an outbreak of Salmonella among dining patrons of Best BBQ located at 1648 West 115th Street in Chicago. At least 14 people were ill. Six persons were hospitalized. The restaurant closed voluntarily during the investigation.
