2017 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a Restaurant, Colorado Springs, Colorado
In July 2017 Colorado public health officials investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens at a restaurant located in Colorado Springs. Two people were ill. One person was laboratory confirmed. One person was hospitalized. No one died. Based on epidemiologic findings, potatoes were the implicated contaminated food.
