2017 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens Linked to Consumption of Green Chili, Pueblo, Colorado
In April 2017 four people became ill with Clostridium perfringens following an April 15 meal at a fast food restaurant located in Pueblo, Colorado. Two people were laboratory confirmed. No one was hospitalized and no one died. C. perfringens was detected in a sample of green chile made with garlic, peppers, jalapeno, pork and tomato.
