Four people residing in four different households became ill with abdominal cramps and diarrhea following an April 22, 2017 meal of burritos and tacos. Beans were the suspected source of the outbreak. Symptoms occurred between 9 hours and 21 hours after the meal. No one sought medical care and no one died. Based on incubation, duration of symptoms, and implicated food item, investigators theorized that the outbreak was due to Clostridium perfringens. No specimens were tested.
