2017 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Banquet Facility, Colorado Springs, Colorado
In July 2017 public health officials in Colorado Springs investigated an outbreak of Norovirus occurring at a banquet facility. Ten people reported symptoms. Three cases were laboratory confirmed with norovirus. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Contaminated ready-to-eat foods (crudites, cheese, and smoked meats) were implicated as the source of the outbreak.
