2017 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Fundraising Event, Vancouver, Washington
An outbreak of norovirus occurred following a fundraising for a local organization in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington. The implicated meal date was March 11, 2017. Two people were laboratory confirmed with norovirus. Thirty other people were classified as probable cases. One person visited a health care provider but no one was hospitalized and no one died. A case-control study was conducted. Consuming fruit salad was statistically associated with illness.
