In early 2017 ten people became ill with norovirus after eating at a restaurant located in Port Townsend, Washington. Ill persons were members of 4 groups who ate at the restaurant January 26, January 27 and February 2. Two people were laboratory confirmed with norovirus. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Investigators suspect that an ill restaurant worker was the source of the outbreak.
