In late December 2017 public health officials in Colorado investigated an outbreak of norovirus at a sit-down restaurant located in Aurora, Colorado. The meal date was December 29, 2017. Ill persons resided in several counties in Colorado (Denver, Douglas, and Elbert) as well as Idaho. In total 44 people met the case definition for an outbreak associated case. Three cases were laboratory confirmed with norovirus. No one was hospitalized and no one died. An ill food worker was implicated as the source of the outbreak.
