2017 Outbreak of Samonella Panama Infections at a Restaurant, Oklahoma

In June 2017 public health officials in Oklahoma investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Panama among customers of a restaurant located in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Exposure dates ranged from June 21, 2017 to June 27, 2017. The first case became ill on June 26. Five people were laboratory confirmed with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Panama. Two people were hospitalized. No one died.
