Colorado public health agencies received multiple complaints from customers who ate at a restaurant located in Boulder, Colorado over a week period in December. There were 52 reported cases of illness.

No one was hospitalized and no one died. The median incubation period was 24 hours (range, 6 to 72 hours). The median duration of illness was 24 hours (range, 12 to 72 hours). Forty nine of 52 ill persons reported vomiting. Forty-seven people reported diarrhea. Gastroenteritis occurred via person-to-person spread among restaurant staff who did not adhere to exclusion policies.
