2018 Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella I 4,[5], 12:i:- Infections Linked to Pork

In September 2018 a multistate outbreak of Salmonella I 4,[5], 12:i:- infections was investigated by federal and state public health officials. The suspected source was contaminated pork. Four states reported 18 outbreak associated cases. Four cases were hospitalized. No one died.
