2018 Outbreak of Norovirus at a Restaurant, Pierce County, Washington
In July 2018 Tacoma Pierce County Health District investigated an outbreak of norovirus among patrons at a restaurant. Twenty-two outbreak associated cases were identified. Two cases were hospitalized. No one died. A specific food item was not identified but investigators suspected an ill foodhandler as the source of the outbreak.
