In April 2017 Oklahoma Department of Health officials investigated an outbreak of norovirus in Kay County. Co-workers purchased food at a fast food restaurant on April 10 and ate their meals at their workplace. Two people were laboratory confirmed with norovirus. Eight people were considered to be probable cases. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
