2019 Multistate Outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 Infections Associated with Leafy Greens
Public health officials investigated an outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections beginning in November 2019. Illness onset dates ranged from November 21, 2019 to December 29, 2019. Twenty four laboratory confirmed cases were identified. Seven people were hospitalized. No one died. Leafy greens were the implicated vehicle.
The outbreak was assigned CDC Cluster Code 1912MLEXH-4.
