2019 Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella Javiana Infections Associated with Prepackaged Salad Mix
In January 2019 public health officials in 8 states investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Javiana infections linked to consumption of pre-packaged salad mix. A total of 16 outbreak associated cases were identified. Three people were hospitalized. There were no deaths.
The outbreak was assigned CDC Cluster/Outbreak Code 1903MLJGG-1.
