2019 Multistate Outbreak of Vibriosis Linked to Raw Oysters

Public health investigators in 14 states reported cases of Vibrio parahaemolyticus infections linked to consumption of raw oysters consumed at restaurants. A total of 59 outbreak associated cases were identified. One person was hospitalized. No one died.
