In September 2019 Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) investigated an outbreak of norovirus-like illnesses associated with The Greek House located in Burien, Washington. Nine people from two separate meal parties reported symptoms consistent with norovirus after consuming food and beverage from the restaurant on September 4, 2019. No one submitted a specimen for laboratory testing. No one was hospitalized and no one died. PHSKC investigators visited the restaurant on September 10, 2019. Investigators did not find any risk factors that are known to contribute to the spread of norovirus. No ill employees were identified.
