2020 Multistate Outbreak of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Illnesses Linked to Raw Oysters
In July 2020 an outbreak of Vibrio parahaemolyticus occurred. Eight states reported illnesses. The source was raw oysters. Twenty four outbreak associated cases were identified. Two people were hospitalized. No one died.
