2020 Outbreak of Chemical Poisoning Linked to Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, Washington
In July 2020, Clark County Public Health investigated an outbreak of chemical poisoning linked to Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. Two outbreak cases were identified. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Investigators determined that sanitizer or a cleaning compound was accidentally added to the beverage.
