2021 Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella Javiana Infections Associated with Cantaloupe
In October 2021, public health officials investigated a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Javiana infections associated with consumption of cut cantaloupe. Seventy people were ill. Fifteen people were hospitalized. Three people died.
