2021 Multistate Outbreak of Salmonella Muenster Infections Associated with Bearded Dragons
In 2021 CDC and public health officials in 10 states investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Muenster infections associated with contact with pet bearded dragons. Fifteen outbreak associated cases were identified. Two people were hospitalized. No one died.
