2021 Outbreak of STEC O26:H11 Infections at a Private Home, Texas
In February 2021, public health officials in Texas investigated an outbreak of E. coli O26:H11 infections associated with food served at a private home. Six people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The vehicles of transmission were reported as barbeque beef, sausage, rice, and tortilla.
