2021 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens Infections Associated with a Restaurant Buffet, Nebraska
In April 2021, public health officials in Nebraska investigated an outbreak of Clostridium perfringens infections associated with a buffet at a restaurant. Fifty-nine people were ill. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
The implicated vehicle of transmission was sausage gravy.
