2021 Outbreak of Clostridium perfringens Infections Linked to Chicken Tacos, Connecticut
In May 2021, public health officials in Connecticut investigated an outbreak of confirmed Clostridium perfringens infections associated with chicken tacos. The tacos were served at a religious facility. Fifty seven ill cases were identified. No one was hospitalized and no one died.
